WHO WE ARE!

Our guides team is conformed by a joint of 5 local fishermen and the head guide: JUAN CHAY, , FERNANDO PASTRANA, NEKO PASTRANA, ROBERTO AND DANIEL PASTRANA (NEKO'S SONS), who have lived from comercial fishing or harvesting for more than 20 years and know the home waters like the palm of their hands. These guys have been trained for about 10 years in sportfishing with local amateur spin and fly anglers polling along the mangrove shore finding tarpons. Nowadays, they are the best in town and have worked together with us for more than 3 years in tarpon fishing. Tourism industry in Campeche is in its early stage but now, more and more people is comming to visit, but in terms of language proficiency, guides have not been trained for a second language yet. They DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH but we have worked hard to let them know the basics of fishing terms. Be patient, they’ll put you and point directly where the fish are. Raul, the owner and head guide, bilingual, will be on a boat each day and will give you instructions on how to succeed with the fishing. No complaints from past clients.
Our boats are basically outfitted for the best shallow water fishing action. They are very clean and with enough room for a couple of anglers. The “mexican pangas are the best for a feet or less of water” that is for sure. Our fleet is conformed by 4 fiberglass pangas from 18ft to 25 ft and 40 to 60 HP brand new outboards. Every boat counts with casting decks and rod holders, 2 plastic seats and no rooftop, stocked cooler, life vest and a VHF marine portable radio is also on each panga.
